Shotgun and Ruger (formerly known here as Marv), came this afternoon. Ruger was adopted last winter, and only a few days after his adoption his adopter was struck by a drunk driver and passed away. She loved the donkeys and her husband and family wanted to try and care for them-for her. And try they did! I can’t imagine how hard the decision was to let them go, but it shows they have as big of a heart as she did.
